Cytoplasm: What's In It?

  • Cytoplasm is the intercellular fluid (cytosol) and all of the organelles.
  • Organelles: there are many of these structures within a cell. You can think of these as mini-organs.

So what do all these little organs (organelles) do? I thought about typing out a table, like on some of the other pages, but I found some awesome websites for this section, so you can find out for yourself. Take a look at these:
